By creating the TOPSY, we wanted to offer you the best vintage in terms of sneakers made from recycled plant waste.

In addition to being made from recycled plant materials, our TOPSY is made in a production workshop in the northern region of Portugal, and is made up of raw materials sourced in Italy and Spain , for a 100% original sneaker. TOPSY THE ELEPHANT
MORE THAN A BASKETBALL, AN ANTHEM TO THE LIVING.
The name Topsy was inspired by an elephant born in Asia in 1867, and died in New York in 1903, after spending her life in captivity in a circus.
Defending herself from the abuse inflicted by her owners, Topsy ends up killing a trainer when he tried to make her eat a lit cigarette. To punish her for this act, it was decided to sentence her to death by electrocution in a public square on Coney Island on January 4, 1903.
Giving the name of this elephant, who has become the sad emblem of cruelty practiced towards animals, is our way of paying tribute to her memory, and our way of calling for greater consideration of animal life.
