OUR PHILOSOPHY

Launched in 2020, COG was created to respond to a lack of ethical alternatives to sneakers and traditional leather shoes.
We believe that the value of an object is not due to its rarity, but to the ethical concern invested in its manufacture .
So our idea is simple: to offer you shoes made with animal welfare in mind, ensuring respect for the people making our models, and using durable and eco-responsible materials to preserve the planet.
For this, we use neither leather nor any other material of animal origin, but high quality recycled plant and synthetic materials, and our collections are entirely produced in Portugal , in close collaboration with the people from our partner workshops.
Our motivation: knowing you (really!) look good in your sneakers, without the guilt or bitterness of having had to sacrifice your style in the name of your convictions - or the opposite.

1. VEGAN SHOES
In our collections, neither leather nor any other material of animal origin .
Whether vegetable or synthetic , today, many alternatives to animal leather exist. Extremely qualitative and resistant , and very faithfully reproducing the rendering of leather, our materials are guaranteed to be manufactured without suffering! So we weren't going to hesitate to use them to offer you vegan shoes of the highest quality .

2. ETHICAL AND RESPONSIBLE MANUFACTURING
We chose to make our models in a small workshop in the region of Portugal, for the good working conditions offered to employees .
Secure environment, respect for human dignity, all added to know-how inherited from many years of experience.

3. ECO-RESPONSIBLE SHOES
Considering living things also means paying attention to your ecological footprint .
For this, at COG, we choose to favor the use of recycled natural and synthetic materials produced in Europe , and all our sneakers and city shoes are made in Portugal , for the country's proximity to France.

4. CUSTOMIZED PRICES
The mission we have given ourselves: to offer you a range of designer, eco-responsible and durable shoes , at an affordable price.
However, our ethical charter has a cost, and European manufacturing associated with the use of high-quality ecological and vegan materials has a direct impact on the price of our shoes.
There are no taboos between us, so that you can better understand the why and how, we provide you with complete transparency on the manufacturing costs of your ethical shoes!
