Our eco-friendly sneaker is ethically made! This low-top sneaker is not only crafted from environmentally conscious materials, but it's also cruelty-free, meaning it contains no animal-derived ingredients. The faux leather and nubuck that make up its upper are PETA APPROVED VEGAN by the animal rights organization PETA. The same applies to inner linings and laces made from recycled PET or bamboo. Winton, just like the entirety of our vegan women's shoe collections and vegan shoes for men, aim to democratize responsible and animal-friendly fashion. But we don't stop there at COG! While the protection of all living things is our primary motivation, it doesn't limit us to animal welfare, and respect for human beings and artisans in charge of making our eco-friendly shoes is just as important to us.

Sneakers made in Europe

Our leather-free shoes are all made in Europe. From the initial sketches in France near Lyon, to the sourcing of the eco-designed materials produced in Italy, Spain, and Portugal, right through to their final production. production south of Porto, Our responsible sneaker collections are made locally within 1200 kilometers of our offices as the crow flies.

The reasons for this are numerous. First, choosing to collaborate with European partners is a way to limit the carbon emissions resulting from the production of our eco-friendly sneakers. Furthermore, we ensure that our European sneakers are manufactured in workshops considering human rights and respecting their employees, both in terms of health and safety, and by paying them properly.
