With this model, we wanted to combine the dressy side of a high-top sneaker, while adding a futuristic touch in the style of Back to the Future. future for a trendy retro look.
Style-wise, we're there, but above all, we wanted our sneakers to be comfortable enough to be worn all day long. To achieve this, we worked on the design so that the support is impeccable. So gentlemen, if you like men's shoes that hold your foot well, the Wallace high top is made for you! The little extra of the model? Its padding foam surrounding the ankle, for a millimeter-perfect fit, and even more comfort.
To top it all off, like our brand, our high-top sneakers are made from exclusively vegan - cruelty free - and ecological materials, for a stylish and 100% ethical model.
By the way, our vegan high-top sneaker is also available for women : something to delight both Monsieur and Madame. And so that everyone can find their own style, we have subtly declined the Wallace high top in several colors.

The Wallace: an ethical and stylish high-top sneaker
Working on this pair of vegan high-top sneakers was a real challenge!
Made up of nine eyelets through which a pretty recycled PET lace runs, it has a side buckle for a style at the crossroads between futuristic fashion and chic streetwear.
In terms of composition, like all our shoes, our high-top sneakers were designed without animal matter and the same applies to our water-based glues only. Our Wallace high-top sneakers have therefore obtained the label PETA APPROVED VEGAN.
And to preserve the environment, the leather commonly used in the manufacture of shoes, the tanning process of which is generally very polluting, has been replaced by synthetic and natural materials that are largely recycled.
All our models are certified OEKO-TEX 100 - and have an interior coating made of anti-bacterial, anti-perspirant and hypoallergenic microfiber.

Our shoes have been entirely designed to meet the most demanding expectations in terms of aesthetics, comfort and durability... All this while defending the values that are dear to us on an environmental level, because we are committed to more sustainable fashion. Thus, our sneakers are made in Europe in small family workshops, selected for their know-how, but also for the good working conditions offered to their employees.
Our vegan high-top sneaker is the result of a clever mix of ecological and recycled materials: cork, rubber, plastic bottles fished out of the Mediterranean Sea and recycled PET.A truly eco-friendly alternative to classic sneakers, without compromising on style. The Wallace sports a retro-futuristic look that will leave no one indifferent, while remaining understated thanks to its clean lines.
With a simple and elegant design, our Wallace is adorned with a high-quality, slightly grained imitation leather for the outer lining, giving our sneaker flexibility and resistance. To complete the originality of the look of this high-top sneaker, the upper of the shoe is topped with a beautiful finishing loop at the back of the foot, giving it strength and character.

Our eco-friendly high-top sneakers in every way
All the materials of our Wallace are made in Spain, Italy, Germany and Portugal, for shoes with a 100% urban look. Made in Europe ! Which makes our Wallace a pearl of eco-responsibility.
For the design, we chose to collaborate with a small family workshop in the north of Portugal, for its multi-generational know-how, its human-scale organization and its assembly carried out by hand, for optimal quality and resistance.
And it is no coincidence that we chose this factory, since employees have a framework that respects their integrity, ensures that they work in complete safety and receive fair pay.

The composition of our vegan high-top sneaker is evolving
To go even further in our commitment to sustainable, ethical and vegan fashion, the all-black model of our Wallace vegan high-top sneaker changes composition.
Historically, this shoe was made up of:
- From an outer covering in woven material: 100% recycled PET
- With an outer covering in imitation leather: 71% polyester / 29% cotton
- From a lining made from recycled plastic bottles
- With a removable insole made from recycled cork covered with recycled polyester
- From a 40% recycled rubber outsole
- Recycled PET laces
Now, this ethical high-top sneaker for men is produced with a faux leather composed of grape marc, recycled polyester and water-based polyurethane. An innovative material obtained using a rigorous manufacturing process, composed of several stages: grape harvesting, juice extraction, recovery of grape marc, grinding of residues... The substance obtained is then mixed, transformed, spread and dyed, until a ready-to-use material is obtained, used for the outer coating of the shoe.
So, we are moving up a gear by adopting a resolutely ecological manufacturing method for our vegan high-top sneakers. In addition to reducing the share of plastic in the composition of our sneakers, we favor ingredients of natural origin such as grape marc.
How to choose the size of your ethical high-top sneakers for men?
The Wallace fits true to size, but is rather narrow in width across the front of the foot. Therefore, if you think you have a slightly wide foot or if you are just between two sizes, we recommend that you take a size larger than your usual size. For example: for a 44.5, choose a 45 instead. Other than these cases, you can choose your usual size.
When trying on your pair of vegan high-top sneakers, remember to break in the shoes to make them easier to put on. As for comfort, it will only improve over time, as the materials that make up the Wallace naturally soften.
Please note: the insoles of our sneakers are removable. If you wish, you can remove them and replace them with your own insoles.
How to maintain your vegan high-top sneakers?
To maintain your ethical high-top sneakers for men, simply rub the outside with a damp cloth and then let them air dry. Just be careful not to leave the shoes in direct sunlight, so as not to damage the colors.
If you want to give your insoles a new lease of life, you can remove them and sprinkle them with a little baking soda. Place the insoles in an airtight bag, close it, then leave it to act for several hours. Shake the insoles vigorously to remove the powder, then put them back in your shoes: that's it!
